Pirates fall in 4 to Hornets

For much of the night, the Phoenix volleyball team played well enough to knock off Henley.

Unfortunately for the Pirates, there just weren't enough of those times in a four-set loss to the visiting Hornets in a Skyline Conference match on Tuesday night as Henley scored a 25-22, 21-25, 25-15 and 25-15 victory.

Phoenix (2-4 in conference play) got nine kills and nine digs from Katelyn Hanson and 11 digs fro Abi George. The Pirates return to action Thursday at Mazama.
