The Phoenix boys' soccer team continued to roll on Monday afternoon.
The Pirates improved to 2-0 in Skyline Conference play and 5-0 overall with a 4-0 win over visiting Hidden Valley at Colver Field.
Ranked seventh in the state's computer rankings, Phoenix has outscored opponents 17-2 this season.
Victor Martinez scored a hat trick while Randy Rodriguez also scored in the win. Johnny Esquivel had a pair of assists while Cain Vargas also set up a goal in the victory. Moises Rivera recorded a clean sheet in goal while Dan Martinez and Esquivel anchored the defensive backfield for the Pirates, who travel to North Valley on Thursday.
