A season of growth came to an end for the Phoenix girls soccer team on Thursday night.
The Pirates played host Klamath Union to a scoreless first half before the Pelicans pulled away for a 3-0 Skyline Conference victory in Klamath Falls.
PHS, which broke a 75-match conference losing streak this season, finished with a marked of 3-10 overall and 1-9 in Skyline play. Megan Farley and Lilliana Mejia led the Pirates in the contest.
