Gene Farthing
Coach Farthing had a very successful run as Talent High School's baseball coach. He led the 1954 team to the school's only state championship as it won a share of the title. He won county baseball titles in 1951, 1952, 1954, 1955 and 1956 and the district and inter-district playoff titles in 1955.
