Jack Woodward
Coach Woodward has a football stadium at Phoenix High School named after him for good reason...he served as head football coach at PHS for 27 years and was an assistant coach for 10 years, winning two state titles in the process. He is the only PHS coach to have state titles in two sports, which includes the 1951 basketball championship. He was also head track coach for five years. He finished his football coaching career with a stellar record of 168-66-5.
