Dan Beeson
This 1965 PHS graduate starred in basketball. He anchored the 1965 team which finished 24-1 and qualified for the state tournament where he made 18 consecutive free throws and was an all-tournament selection. He went on to Linfield College where he helped the school reach the NAIA tournament in four straight years and set career records in rebounds for a season and a career. He averaged 15.3 points per game over his college career before being drafted by both the Seattle Supersonics and New York Nets, narrowly missing a spot on the Sonics' final roster.
